Water Holder Ring

Metal Meets Organic

The goal of this piece was to create a ring that could hold a pool of water, floating above the surface of your fingers. I used metalworking techniques including roller printing, forming, and soldering to create the appearance of a lily pad sitting atop the hand.

This piece is made from silver (ring band), and brass (lily pad), which will develop a green patina over time.
